As part of our current high growth phase, we are looking for a IT Support Technician to provide hands on maintenance and implementation of IT hardware and software, as well as providing technical support to employees on a wide range of issues.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing hands-on 1st and 2nd line technical support to over 100 users
- Maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, software, and networks
- Implementing new IT projects and upgrades, seeking out and recommending new solutions where appropriate
- Providing training and guidance to employees on the use of IT systems
- Ensuring good cybersecurity principles are implemented
- Working with IT suppliers to ensure SLA are met and projects delivered
- Participating in IT projects and providing input on technical solutions.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous proven experience providing 1st and 2nd line support in a similar role
- Previous experience working with Windows stack, Azure and Office 365 (ideally an E3 or E5 tenant)
- Strong communication skills with a service orientated approach
- Instinctive problem-solving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach
- Happy to learn and self-develop new skills
- A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business environment
- Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands
- A flexible approach to work
- UK driving license and ability to travel.
Desired:
- Experience with Ubiquiti Networking or similar desirable.
